Hisi Studio

Hisi Studio is a Kenyan design brand. The word Hisi is Swahili meaning feel. Our work is inspired by the belief that “The less we see with our eyes, the more we see with our hearts”.Ours is a user-centred design approach. We explore inclusive design that leverages, rethinks, and includes the needs of visually impaired fashion consumers: creating a more holistic sensorial experience. We draw inspiration from the vibrant social and cultural mosaic of the African people expressed through various art-forms,their stories and experiences. As a brand, we champion innovation through assistive technology and digital fabrication.
