HITS Telecom Holding K.S.C is a publicly listed company on Kuwait Stock Exchange Market. HITS Telecom Holding K.S.C main activity is to manage the different companies and subsidiaries across the group. Currently HITS Telecom Holding owns and operates companies in 4 continents In 2007, HITS founded HITS Africa, an operation intended to pursue new opportunities for investing in communications networks across the continent as well as opening “Greenfield” operations through new license bids. HITS Africa has gone on to invest in operations in Tanzania, Liberia, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Equatorial Guinea. In 2008 HITS Telecom Holding K.S.C has incorporated HITS Europe, having made the first transaction in Spain with the acquisition of 51% of Metrored Movil SA, subsequently named HITS Spain SA. This is the first investment into the lucrative European mobile market, 2008 has also seen the incorporation of HITS South America.
