Hive Battery Labs develops lithium-ion battery cell formation and test technologies to lower cost of quality. Our unique hardware platform enables laboratory-grade electrochemical measurement at manufacturing scale throughput, and our modeling and analytics platform provides our customers with actionable insights to reduce manufacturing time. Our mission is to help battery makers and users improve the cost, safety, reliability, and understanding of their batteries. Hive spun out of a power electronics research group at Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College in June 2016 and has been funded from National Science Foundation Phase I and Phase II SBIR Awards.
