Founded in 2006, HKBU Fund Management Committee is the first interest club among the 8 universities in Hong Kong that invests in Hong Kong equity market with real money donated by alumni. After more than ten years of management, the total fund capital has surged to over HK$1.5 million. In 2018, we successfully outperformed HSI by nearly 5% in a volatile market situation. Our previous members have successfully seized internship and full-time positions in renowned investment banks including HSBC, Jefferies, BDA Partners, CICC and China Renaissance. We hire new committee members every March to select the most bright and motivated people in the university.
