Building on the pioneering work of HKUST’s State Key Laboratory of Molecular Neuroscience, Hong Kong Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (HKCeND) is established as a research hub under the Health@InnoHK cluster for advanced research in neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer's disease.
We strive to deliver innovative diagnostics and therapeutics targeting aging and neurodegenerative diseases to significantly improve the lives of patients, caregivers, and families.
We team up with prominent research investigators to collectively establish state-of-the-art technological platforms for the generation of new insights on disease pathways, identification of disease-associated targets and potential drug candidates, and development of effective diagnostics, prognostics and clinical interventions for neurodegenerative diseases.
