Hong Kong Orchestra is a newly established orchestra in Hong Kong, founded by the founder of Maestro Art School of Music and the vice-chairman of the Hong Kong Asia Youth Association, Mr. Edmond Cheung. In recent years, Mr. Cheung has been actively building up his musicians’ team and business, giving tremendous support in helping local musicians to pursue their career in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong Orchestra was formed by a group of top local musicians, with Mr. Leung Kin Fung as the music director. Its members are mainly graduates from music institutes in Hong Kong and overseas. They are all actively participating in numerous concerts, freelance for professional orchestras, and concert tours all over China and overseas. They are also frequently performing under the invitation by the Government of Hong Kong and Macau.
Hong Kong Orchestra stresses on its high standard performances, as well as its unique style and program for the audience. To be able to succeed in different forms of performances and music compositions, Hong Kong Orchestra is flexible on its size, shifting from a chamber orchestra to a full symphony orchestra, or vice versa.
