HKS uses the latest innovative techniques to achieve an extremely high level of recycling. Its aim is to reduce waste to zero. The head office of HKS is based in Moerdijk. It has branches in Amsterdam, Amersfoort, Eindhoven, Hengelo, Zwartsluis, Moerdijk, Nijmegen, Middelburg, Geel (Belgium) and Dagenham (UK) and processes more than 1 million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap. All branches hold the ISO 9001:2008 (quality) certificate, the ISO 14001:2004 (environmental management) certificate and the CSR Performance Ladder Level 3 certificate.
