Originally founded in Shanghai, China, in 1913 as Tak Fong Weaving and Dyeing Co. The Group started as a two-mill operation; focusing on weaving, dyeing and finishing. It was the first licensed weaving and dyeing factory in Shanghai
In 1948, the Company moved its operations to Hong Kong under a new name, Hong Kong Spinners Limited, together with a sizeable entourage of staff. A year later, Hong Kong Spinners Limited was fully operational
Over the years, Hong Kong Spinners Limited (now renamed “HKS Group International Limited”) expanded to include spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing and finishing mills. Its best known brands, Red Rose and Golden Bull, is widely recognized for quality throughout the world
