History
Information Systems Association, Business and Economics Association, Hong Kong University Students’ Union, is the official student representative body of the BBA(IS)/BEng(CS) double-degree programme.
Information Systems Association, BEA, HKUSU is established in 2001. It was previously known as Information Systems Association, The University of Hong Kong. In 2004, it was affiliated to Business and Economics Association, HKUSU. The name “Information Systems Association, BEA, HKUSU” has been used after the affiliation.
Objectives
1. To secure the complete organisation and unity of all BBA(IS)/BEng(CS) students
2. To facilitate the communication between the BBA(IS)/BEng(CS) students and the infrastructures of authority of the management of the Programmes
3. To promote the interest and understanding in the principles and applications of Software Engineering, Computer Science and Information Systems in particular amongst fellow students and the public
4. To enforce the concepts, knowledge and visions of the business world into application to the field of Software Engineering and to the field of Computer Science, and vice versa
