HKU School of Nursing

The School of Nursing of The University of Hong Kong, established in 1995, plays a significant role in nursing education, research, clinical practice and knowledge exchange. Our School is committed to nurturing nursing leaders for the community and enhancing the nursing health care practice for the region and beyond. It is our goal to provide a diversified and holistic nursing education and to integrate competent practice in the provision of nursing care through advanced pedagogy, research and knowledge exchange, etc. along the University’s 3+1 ‘I’s strategic initiatives, i.e. Internationalisation, Innovation, and Interdisciplinarity – all converging into Impact. We also have established strategic networks with health care settings in Hong Kong and overseas prestigious nursing schools which facilitate the provision of cutting-edge learning environments for our students at undergraduate, research postgraduate, and taught postgraduate at master's and doctoral levels.
