Hongkong Young Historian Institute(HKYHI) is a history association(limited by guarantee) founded by a group of tertiary students who's interested in historical studies. Established in January 2019, we aim at motivating history student to conduct historical research, public history project, and study for a postgraduate degree in history major.
According to our constitution, we will comply with below clauses:
(a) clause stating precisely and clearly its objects for which the charity is established;
(b) clause limiting the application of its funds towards the attainment of its stated objects;
(c) clause prohibiting distribution of its incomes and properties amongst its members;
(d) clause prohibiting members of its governing body from receiving remuneration;
(e) clause requiring members of its governing body to disclose material interest and not to vote in respect of a transaction, arrangement or contract in which they are so interested;
(f) clause specifying how the assets should be dealt with upon its dissolution; and
(g) clause requiring the keeping of sufficient records of income and expenditure, proper accounting books and compilation of annual financial statements.
