The Hispanic Law Students Association (HLSA) at South Texas College of Law Houston was founded in 1984 to promote and assist in Hispanic law students' educational needs and professional goals. HLSA's activities include monthly meetings, speaker forums, community projects, fundraisers for the HLSA scholarship program, and networking opportunities with prominent practicing attorneys and guest speakers. HLSA’s main mission is to be a resource for the students at South Texas in as many ways as possible. Additionally, we aim to connect students with prominent practicing attorneys in the Houston area in their field of interest.
