With over 25 years of experience, Lionel, a self-taught designer and passionate outdoor enthusiast, brings his expertise to create products that combine innovation, durability, and design. Lionel’s journey began with a passion for skiing, and his expertise was further developed during his time as a technical advisor and assistant stylist at Millet, where he learned to combine technical skills with creative design for high-performance mountain products. Before founding HMI Design, Lionel co-led Chainpurdesign and Quartier Général for eight years, where he designed products to meet the extreme conditions of the mountains and refined his vision of outdoor design. At HMI Design, we believe that true innovation comes from real-life experience. Thanks to Lionel’s experiences – from skiing and snowboarding to skateboarding and life in Chamonix – we are able to create products that meet the needs of users seeking both performance and style.
