Founded in 1958, Hoddam Contracting Co. Ltd (also known as Hoddacrete) have prided ourselves on the quality of our products whilst growing to be one of the leaders in Dumfriesshire of aggregates and concrete products. Hoddam's product catalogue includes -Flags ( 2x2, 3x2, Flat Tops ect.) -Kerbs ( Bullnose, Half-Batter, Angles, ect.) -Blocks ( 4", 6", 9" Hollows ect.) -Aggregates -Ready Mix Concrete Hoddam Contracting have 2 Sand and Gravel Quarries in the South of Scotland. - Kilblane Quarry is based at Locharbriggs, on the outskirts of Dumfries. Sand and gravel has been extracted from the quarry for 20+ years. Also manufactured at Kilblane Quarry is ready-mixed concrete. -Broom Quarry is based near Powfoot, Annan. This quarry was purchased by the company in the 1990s, where sand and gravel have been quarried since. Hoddam Contracting has a wide fleet of vehicles, these include: -Flat Bed Trucks (both artic and rigid size) for concrete products and bags of aggregates -Tipper Trucks for loose aggregates -Ready Mix trucks for the ready-mix concrete
