Hodson & Kauss

Based in Stallingborough in the North East of Lincolnshire, Hodson & Kauss have been delivering security fencing, sliding gates and fabrications for over 30 years, Reaching all ends of the UK. Our working profile ranges from small domestic jobs such as driveway gates and house steelworks. To large industrial works including construction and erection of steelwork frames, platforms, perimeter fences and gates securing kilometres of business and refinery compounds. The company started off from Ron Hodson taking over a small blacksmiths shop in Stallingborough calling it R.W Hodson blacksmiths in 1952. His son Derrick Hodson then became partner in 1966 changing the name to R.W Hodson and Sons. In April 1990, after serving as an apprentice, Kristian Kauss replaced Ron Hodson after 38 years in the trade making a business partnership with Derrick and turning the company into what it is now, Hodson & Kauss. In September 2020 Derrick Hodson retired making way for a father-son partnership of Oliver Kauss and Kristian Kauss. From the very start right through until now, our main objective is to provide a reliable and safe service to all, whilst maintaining good working relations with customers new and old.
