We also offer a safe, supervised place to live to the same target group. We believe that everyone should be able to participate in the society in their own way. However, some people (such as people with an intellectual disability) need some support. We use our expertise, knowledge and experience for this target group. In fact, all workplaces serve the development of our clients. Animals (especially horses), music and art play an important role within Hoeve Engelenburgh. Working with horses stimulates all kinds of skills. Music and being creative has a relaxing and connecting effect; both between clients and with society. Music also appeals to brain areas, which are also used in language, for example. With these activities, all kinds of skills are developed in a casual and self-chosen manner. Concerts are regularly organized to establish this connection. In short: Zorgboerderij Hoeve Engelenburgh is a place where society meets.
