Developed by master educator Joseph Hoffman, the Hoffman Method guides students to play their earliest songs "by ear" in an intuitive sequence modeled after language acquisition. The experience of music - from singing notes to patting out rhythms - connects directly to a young musician’s natural love of music and prepares them for the sight reading, dictation, transposition, and other aspects of music theory featured in later lessons.
