Sikkim Agro & Food Products

Unemployment is increasing in our country and our state is not out of our country. Especially these hill districts of Darjeeling and Sikkim are full of its agricultural produce but the absence of much of large scale & small scale industry not much employment is available here. This project of mine doesn’t provide wide employment but helps in developing the livelihood of few villages of the hills where these grass brooms are being produced. This new project on broom will ensure more equitable distribution of the income of the farmers and they facilitate an effective mobilization of resources of capital & skill. Cooperatives are desirable to produce this product because they will be responsible for the distribution of jobs and payment of the local producer.
