Hola OPS - The Organization for Hispanic and Latin American Ontario Public Servants

The organization for Hispanic and Latin American Ontario Public Servants (Hola OPS) is an employee resource group within the Ontario Public Service. This employee network supports the talent pool of more than 1,000 Latinx professionals who are OPS employees to reach their full potential and celebrates the common bonds of culture, geography, ethnic origin and languages associated with Latin America and Spanish-speaking countries. The Government of Ontario includes ministries, agencies and Crown corporations. Its workforce of 60,000+ public servants is called the Ontario Public Service (OPS). The OPS: -helps the government of the day to develop and deliver policies and programs -is politically neutral and remains in place through elections -works in many different areas (e.g., policy, communications and program delivery) -is governed by the rules set out in the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006
