The aim of Hold The Space is to bridge the gap between children living in underprivileged communities with potential mentors and sponsors around the world. We feel that if these children knew that there was someone there for them, motivating them, backing them up and ultimately Holding The Space for them in what ever they do and hope to achieve – it will give them a greater chance to live out their dreams with a prosperous future.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- To create a mentorship program: create a link between suitable mentors worldwide and orphaned / underprivileged children who need guidance and support.
- To offer a volunteer program: establish volunteer programs – offering select individuals a unique opportunity to have one-on-one contact with those whose lives they are changing for the better.
- To improve youth education: reduce a lack of basic education and vocational training in underprivileged communities – helping to create a positive future for the youth of tomorrow.
- To create awareness: use celebrity and social media in a positive way – to highlight important issues underprivileged youth are facing and find ways to solve these problems.
- To raise funds for projects: aise funds for specific projects – including building schools, stocking libraries, providing food and clothing to orphans … and more.
