Our tailored M.A.B™ (Managing Aggressive Behaviours) staff safety training includes both face to face workshops and eLearn components that ensure the recipient gets a holistic view of how to manage aggressive behaviours. Clients come from a range of organisations in aged care, child care, community, compliance, disability, family, frontline, health, homelessness, library, local government, maternal and child health, mental health, paramedic, regulatory, transport, utility and youth service providers Our experience in the delivery of M.A.B. ™ indicated that suitable safeguards were not in place to monitor the well-being of lone and isolated workers. We saw the need to develop intelligently designed, sustainable, cost effective solutions with a low ongoing administrative burden. My Safety Buddy – THE solution to manage lone worker safety was then built as a smartphone app and web portal based lone worker safety solution. Providing lone and isolated workers with a next generation solution to rapidly request emergency assistance and improve response effectiveness, My Safety Buddy is an enabler for organisations to meet their duty of care obligations. MD, Travis Holland, is a regular guest speaker at conferences such as Carex, ITAC, International Mental Health, and LASA National Congress and has presented at sector forums for organisations such as QBE, EML, CGU and Xchanging. His regular blog focuses on common issues raised by our clients and is driven by giving solutions to real challenges. He has also contributed to specialist publications such as ACSA Agendas, Aged Care Insight, LASA Fusion, and AP Fire.
