The main product, purified R-Phycoerythrin (R-PE), is derived from newly identified algae species in coastal region of Taiwan, and further self-cultivated on-site (Purified R-PE monthly production capacity reached 70 Grams).
R-PE exhibits 30-100 times brighter fluorescence signals than conventional fluorophores, and can be made into tandem dyes, or directly conjugated with antibodies to detect cell surface antigens and conduct cell sorting/imaging through Flow Cytometry (FC) and Immunofluorescence Microscope (IF).
