Dr. Jameel Shaik (https://jameelshaik.com) started HomeoWealth to be in touch with his patients. He has been practicing Homeopathy since 1998 and has treated thousands of patients successfully. He has an undergraduate degree in Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery – BHMS) from India and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University, USA. After obtaining his degree in Homoeopathic medicine, he worked in private hospitals/clinics (both Allopathic and Homeopathic) for about two years and then operated his clinics in his native place, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India, for about three years before deciding to go to the United States for his PhD. His younger brother was instrumental in convincing him to do his PhD in the US. Both of them obtained their PhDs from the same institute.
After returning from the US in 2007, he became a faculty member of the School of Bio Sciences and Technology, VIT in 2008 and worked there until May 2015. He is available for project consultancies and management in his areas of expertise – Homeopathic medicine, Nanobiotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, and Higher Education. His dream is to start a digital, affordable, integrated health-care platform (all the six recognized systems of medicine in India – Allopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Naturopathy & Yogic Medicine) as he believes that each system of medicine has its advantages as well as disadvantages. And therefore, ideally, these systems of medicine should be offered under a single roof.
