HomeSight Eye Care meets the eye care needs for patients unable to leave home to see the doctor. We provide a portable eye exam with the latest technology for patients that may be bed or wheelchair-bound, have physical issues, or behavioral/mental issues such as Alzheimer’s disease or Dementia. We provide medical optometric services to patients in skilled nursing, assisted, and independent living facilities, as well as to homebound patients through house calls.
Our goal is to deliver the compassionate, expert eye care that patients deserve without the stress of leaving their homes, assisted living communities, and nursing facilities. Our optometrists perform in-home exams tailored specifically to the needs of less mobile patients. We take pride in providing medical eye care to patients who would otherwise have little or no access.
We get to know our patients, their specific needs, and their environments. Our model of care promotes patient and caregiver involvement in the medical decision-making process, and we routinely communicate with primary care physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
