Homevets was founded in 2020 by Dr. Shawn Budge together with his wife, Anna. During the height of COVID lockdowns, HomeVets met the demand for in-home veterinary care. Since then, Dr. Budge has been joined by his partner Dr. Brittany Wolfe and the practice continues to grow. In 2023 HomeVets opened a brick-and-mortar clinic in Ellicott City to meet increasing demand and the need for more clinical and surgical space. Our veterinarians now enjoy the ability to work either as mobile practitioners or in the hospital. As a private, doctor-owned practice, we place high priority on work-life-balance, flexible schedules, preventing burnout before it happens, and generous compensation and benefits for all of our employees.
