Hope H2O

We are a Canadian non-profit organization that aims to improve the lives of rural Ethiopians through programs that focus on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH). We believe that water is a human right, and that addressing these needs is foundational in bringing communities out of poverty. Our Board of Directors and Executive Director work from Canada where we are a Registered Charity, and we make sure that all of the work in Ethiopia is executed by our Ethiopian partners Imagine1Day who hires local labourers and involves the community in their own development projects and goals. Hope H2O (Formerly HORCO) exists to nurture hope in rural Ethiopia. We know that water changes everything in the life of the poor in Africa, and that there are still more Ethiopians living without access to clean water than the entire population of Canada. These facts are what push us to raise more awareness and funding in Canada to do more in Ethiopia.
