Hope4Kids Foundation is an initiative that focuses on helping children who are victims of abuse, neglect and poverty. The initiative came to existence in June 2023 by a group of Teach For Nigeria Fellows (Cohort 6, 2022) who saw the need for more services for vulnerable/underprivileged children in the Ijebu-Imusin and Ijebu-Ife communities of Ijebu-East LGA, Ogun State, Nigeria.
The Hope4Kids Foundation aims to address the problem of poverty and lack of access to education for underprivileged children. Many children from low-income families do not have access to basic education, which can limit their opportunities for a better future. A lack of education can also perpetuate the cycle of poverty, making it difficult for families to break out of the cycle.
VISION: To create a world where all children, regardless of their socio-economic background, have access to quality and equitable education and are able to reach their full potential.
We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering children to become productive members of society.
MISSION: To provide underprivileged children with access to quality education, resources, and support that will enable them to thrive and achieve their goals.
We work towards this mission by partnering with schools and community organizations to provide educational programs, scholarships, mentoring, and other support services to children in need.
Our ultimate goal is to empower children to become self-sufficient, productive members of society and break the cycle of poverty.
