ABOUT Waste to Desks is an initiative that is focused on addressing the issue of inadequate school furniture in underserved schools. We understand that many schools in low-income communities struggle to provide basic necessities such as desks, chairs, and tables for their students. This lack of resources can have a detrimental effect on students' learning and academic performance. Our organization aims to bridge this gap by providing essential school furniture to these schools. HOW WE DO IT • We work closely with schools to assess their specific needs and provide them with the furniture they require to create a comfortable and conducive learning environment. • We also provide support to ensure that the furniture remains in good condition. OUR MISSION To bridge the gap between underfunded schools and the resources they require for success by giving students in underserved schools access to basic school furniture for optimal academic performance. OUR VISION To create a world where every child has access to a comfortable and conducive learning environment, regardless of socioeconomic background. HOW WE RAISE FUND We believe in the power of community. We raise funds through donations, grants, and crowdfunding. We also reach out to corporate sponsors/partners to get their support for our mission. Furthermore, we collaborate with other organizations that work towards the same goal, this enables us to reach more schools and make a greater impact.
