Hope and Light, founded by Dr. Asma Naheed, psychologist, Special Needs Consultant, and Philanthropist with 29 years of experience across the USA, UAE, and Pakistan, is on a mission to transform women's and children's lives in Pakistan.
Our not-for-profit PsyCare clinics are dedicated to empowering women by raising mental health awareness and providing expert guidance, paving the way for a brighter, healthier society.
Inspired by Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, our vision is to uplift women, ensuring access to necessities like food, water, and safety and helping them build connections and reach their fullest potential.
We’re not just talking about change; we’re making it happen. We’re investing in water supply schemes to support women who carry water bowls (Matka) on their heads, building bridges so girls can get to school safely, and teaching soft skills to high schoolers for smooth transitions to higher education or the workforce.
Through impactful projects that bring essential resources to underserved regions and inspiring training sessions on vital mental health topics, we’re addressing everything from depression and stress to parenting, marital issues, behavior management, learning difficulties, and more.
Our focus on educational psychology aims to enhance learning capacities and provide enlightening training for teachers, counselors, special educators, doctors, and others.
