The Hopping Hare is an independent hotel & restaurant located in Duston, Northampton. Our aim is to create an informal, contemporary and elegant setting to reflect the spirit of fine dining today. The first restaurant in Northampton to achieve and maintain 2 AA Rosettes for culinary excellence we have a strong brigade of chefs led by executive chef Karl Penny. Every dish is prepared and cooked in-house from our focaccia to our ice cream and we have daily deliveries sourcing our produce based on quality, and locally wherever possible. We are an excellent venue for a coffee and catch up, quick lunch, romantic meal, family or business celebration large or small. We often create a bespoke menu based on the customers requirements. We offer an extensive dairy free and gluten free menu, can cater for multiple allergies and we offer vegetarian and vegan options as well as our popular children's menu. Afternoon teas are served every day except Sunday. We are a popular venue for visitors to the Northampton Saints, Althorp, Silverstone, Coton Manor Gardens, cobblers to name a few. Our comfortable rooms offer a luxury boutique feel, they are all en suite and this year we have had the beds replaced, and the tv's upgraded to smart tv's. Our dedicated housekeeping team keep everything fresh and clean while our friendly front of house staff will welcome you and look after you throughout your stay.
