Welcome to Horne Engineering Ltd, experts in temperature control since 1909. Thermostatic control technology lies at the heart of everything we do. In the beginning we invented the thermostatic steam control valve to automatically regulate the temperature of large hot water storage calorifiers. The same principal was employed, in the early 1920s, when we invented the worlds first thermostatic mixing valve, TMV, to automatically blend hot water with cold to produce warm water at a safe and comfortable temperature. Our product portfolio has application across a wide number of sectors including healthcare, extra-care, secure, education, sport and leisure, as well as institutional accommodations and now includes thermostatic mixing valves, sized 15mm to 50mm, thermostatic shower valves incorporated into a range of pre-plumbed surface mounted panels and the Building Better Healthcare award-winning Optitherm thermostatic tap for clinical handwashing.
