HORSFORTH SCHOOL

Our secondary school in Leeds is for 11-18 year old students. Our outstanding sixth form welcomes students from our school and new students from the surrounding areas. We firmly believe in opportunity and achievement for all and are proud to provide a first class education which aims to equip all students with the confidence, competence, knowledge, skills and understanding to fit easily and actively into a rapidly changing society. We aim to ensure that all students enjoy learning and achieve their potential, not only in their studies but also in sporting, creative and practical endeavours. We encourage hard work, courtesy, good behaviour and service to our community. We provide many opportunities to develop these attributes both inside and outside of the classroom. This is a good school. Ofsted described the majority of aspects of school life as ‘outstanding’, ‘excellent’ or ‘exemplary’ (Ofsted report December 2013).
