About HOSA UTSG
HOSA stands for Health Occupations Students of America. It is a student-led organization that originated in the United States and expanded to Canada in 2014. Composed of a national body and chapters at various high schools and universities, HOSA hosts annual conferences to foster skills and leadership development in aspiring health professionals. Each conference offers competitions in different fields such as dentistry, nursing, and medicine. At HOSA UTSG, our trainers provide students with the knowledge to compete against other university students at both the Fall and Spring Leadership Conferences (FLC and SLC). Students are equipped with skills directly applicable to their coursework and future healthcare careers. In addition, we host academic, social, and networking events to help students meet like-minded, motivated peers.
