Within walking distance of the hotel are the Funen Village, the Zoo and the pedestrian streets of Odense city centre with their shops, cafés and a host of attractions such as the Hans Christian Andersen Museum, the Carl Nielsen Museum, Brandts Klædefabrik exhibition complex and the Danish Railway Museum.
Funen is also known for its many manor houses and castles, and Egeskov Slot, for example, is most definitely worth a visit for everyone.
For guests who enjoy an active holiday, Knudsens Gaard is located close to the woods and Skovsøen lake with plenty of trails for running or rambling. Odense has three golf courses, all within a radius of 3–5 km from the hotel, and there are several other idyllic golf courses elsewhere on Funen.
