Hovershotz are an energetic aerial filming, photography and aerial surveying company based in the heart of the English Lake District, Cumbria and operating across the UK. We use the latest remote-controlled aerial multi rotor platforms “commonly known as drones or UAV’s”. Creating ultra-smooth, cinematic footage at up to 4k ultra high resolution & definition. Via a video downlink, images and footage from the air can be viewed on the ground in real time, enabling the Pilot, Cameraman and Client or Director full control of the filming angles and framing. Footage can also be streamed live direct to YouTube or Facebook. Hovershotz are the first aerial drone company in Cumbria & the Lake District with permission for night operation in the dark from the UK Civil Aviation Authority. We are fully insured with £2m public liability & professional indemnity, with permission for aerial work/ commercial operation granted by the C.A.A (PFAW & PFCO). CAA registration number 1916. Our pilot’s BNUC-S qualified, adhering to strict safety and operational rules. We are experienced in operating in a wide variety of locations including flying over water, mountainous terrain, urban areas, sports events, and indoors. We also fully understand the legalities surrounding privacy while filming from the sky with a drone mounted camera. For extra reassurance, Hovershotz also hold additional professional indemnity insurance, which covers any privacy concerns.
