هویت فقط یک نام نیست، بلکه یک جنبش، یک صدا و نیرویی برای تغییر است. این سازمان با مأموریت توانمندسازی زنان افغان تأسیس شده و بر شش اصل اساسی استوار است: امید، فرصت، صدا، استقلال، دادخواهی و اعتماد.
در جامعهای که هویت زنان همواره به چالش کشیده شده، هویت متعهد است که جایگاه واقعی آنان را تقویت کند، صدای آنان را بلندتر سازد و آنان را در مسیر بازیابی حقوق اجتماعی، قانونی و اقتصادیشان یاری دهد. ما از طریق آموزش، دادخواهی و برنامههای اجتماعی، ابزارها و فرصتهایی را برای زنان فراهم میکنیم تا با اعتماد به نفس و استقامت، آینده خود را بسازند.
