HBSF's mission is to advance understanding and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases through collaborative research, education and AI technology.
Founded in 2014 by Dr. Newton Howard, the Howard Brain Sciences Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to researching treatments for neurodegenerative diseases. We do this by collaborating across sectors, supporting the work of passionate, innovative students, educating the public on our research and leveraging new technologies such as AI.
We want to make a difference right now, and that is why we focus heavily on translative research and developing solutions today. We are also working to make treatment and neurosurgical care accessible to ALL people, paying critical attention to underserved regions of the world.
