Howling Hills is an independent publisher of quality nonfiction books. We’re committed to telling stories from Greater Appalachia, an area we loosely define as North Georgia to Maine––the length of the Appalachian Trail. It’s where we’ve spent most of our lives and where our families have lived for generations. We focus on people, the outdoors, food, and the environment. We’re building a community of readers and writers and will go wherever pen and page take us.
