HP Hope

Back in December 2020, we did our very first donation of 12 PCs to a School in Bulgaria, setting up the foundations of what has become the HP Global Donation Program: HP HOPE. Giving a second life to PCs eligible for disposal has taken on a bigger purpose through HP HOPE. Designed to advance education and digital equity for disconnected youth and adults, HP remanufactures HP laptops coming from our employees, customers, or partners and then donates them to nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. Leveraging HP’s global repair network and supply chain capabilities, HP HOPE is refurbishing HP PCs to high-quality standards and entitling them with one year of extended support. The PCs are also equipped with Operating System and the pioneering HP proactive insight software, TechPulse. Currently working in close collaboration with +80 educational institutions and non-profit organization in 35 countries, the program is fully enabled in all European Union countries, USA, Brazil, India and Singapore, with additional expansion planned for Mexico before end of 2025.
