HP2 Integrative Wellness

HP2 Integrative Wellness was founded by James Johnson, MD. In over 25 years of practice in family medicine, he has seen the benefits of medications as well as drawbacks, seen the power of lifestyle (nutrition, exercise and activity, etc), and has witnessed the benefit of alternative therapies using food as medicine, acupuncture, and massage, among other modalities. HP2 stands for Healthy People, Healthy Planet. We see health and wellness not just the absence of disease or of feeling poor, but a process, a JOURNEY, if you will, toward our full potential physically, emotionally, and spiritually. HP2 Integrative Wellness is the practice of Family Medicine within the framework of lifestyle management, promoting nutrition and exercise, meditation and stress reduction, as well as integrating alternative providers like nutritionists, functional and integrative doctors, naturopaths, chiropractors, exercise physiologists, and more. Health and wellness is about what we do, what we choose to eat, how we treat each other, and how we treat the Earth.
