At HPRIR we aim to develop and assess interventions that are accessible, sustainable, and integrated into health care systems. By doing this we will promote illness prevention, early detection and healthy lifestyles while also managing chronic illness and enhancing healthcare access for everyone. We provide training on behavioral and resiliency interventions that meets the needs of all individuals to not only educate students, investigators and clinicians but to cultivate expertise in health equities research. We focus on advocating for health equity and integration of behavioral health treatments in health care settings through relationships with the community and engaging in service. Overall, we want to promote the translation of clinical research findings through implementation and dissemination nationally and to our local communities.
