We will soon be launching Eco-cem, our revolutionary binder that will finally bring truly low carbon concrete to NZ.
We are a privately owned NZ company, started by two local families with a vision for a quality product and a reasonable price. From our Tauranga factory we produce over 120'000t of quality product per year, distributed in one of our 18 tankers to customers from Whanganui to Auckland.
In 2022 we will launch a second product ECO-CEM - a ground-breaking low embodied carbon cement that helps reduce global CO2 emissions.
Not only will it reduce embodied carbon in buildings, ECO-CEM brings significant advantages over standard concrete as it significantly improves durability and chemical resistance.
New Zealand’s construction industry consumes 1.5 million tonnes of cement per annum resulting in approximately 1.2 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. ECO-CEM has the potential to reduce these CO2 emissions by at least a third.
ECO-CEM is a game-changer for the New Zealand concrete market as it will ultimately produce a stronger, more durable and more sustainable product.
