HS4U EU project

Who Are We ? HS4U is a cross-national 3-year long Research and Innovation Action (01/09/2022-31/08/2025), supported by the European Union within the framework of the Horizon Europe programme. Our Objective ? HS4U aims to develop and demonstrate holistic solutions that will facilitate the early detection, prevention, mitigation, and management of large passenger and cruise ships ensuring healthy ship operations and safe return to port over conditions of a health crisis. Our Approach ? HS4U offers a bottom-up evidence-based approach by taking into account 4 Unique Pillars and extending current standardized design and regulatory paradigms toward the shipping industry, promoting principles of modularization, optimization, and smart systems engineering toward the detection, prevention, mitigation, and management of large passenger and cruise ships.
