The Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer - National Law University, Delhi International Negotiation Competition, designed as a competitive educational experience aims to imitate professional legal negotiations. With the INC, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer LLP and National Law University Delhi seek to provide law students from top universities around the world, the opportunity to learn and hone their negotiating skills. In a diverse and challenging set-up, the competition has been carefully structured to simulate legal negotiations particularly for students desirous of becoming international lawyers.
Established in 2014 and hosted by NLU Delhi, the HSF Kramer - NLU Delhi INC (previously, HSF - NLU Delhi INC), is the first competition of its kind in India (and probably in Asia) having earned a special significance among law universities around the world. The event, over its nine editions, has received widespread acclaim for its well-drafted negotiation simulations, quality of judging and overall standards of participation.
Now in its tenth edition, the HSF Kramer - NLU Delhi INC will continue its annual tradition of three days of complex and challenging commercial negotiations at National Law University Delhi in New Delhi, India from 29 - 31 August 2025.
