HSHTG is a product of conversations between a mother & son and their individual design languages. It celebrates and imbibes two generation’s worth of fashion core into one very interesting intersection. The silhouettes are as street as they are couture, and as contemporary as they are classic. Its design identity finds commonality between two genders and two genres of design and is a fluid representation of both.
Its concept collection is called ‘A Tailored Mess.’ This collection explores the mess created at a tailor’s workshop by the craftsman’s most essential tool- Threads. Its design language seeks the patterns these clutter of threads invariably form over time and exhibits them as paintings on fabric. This surface design then translates into patterns and garments that represent Preeti and Yash’s unique personalities.
