Unconventional is an interactive multi-design retail space based in Kolkata which showcases meticulously curated Indian designers who have broken conventions and blurred lines to drive a cultural shift with their unique design identities. Born from a mother and son's desire to challenge societal and city norms and to authenticate self-expression, this space is a response to the city's aspiration to engage with fashion and design on a global scale. It offers a space for Kolkata that is not isolated from the world but is an extension of it. The in-house brands include Almost Gods, Huemn, Outbreak Lab, Gully Labs, Rkive City, HSHTG, The Noble Sculptor, Prkhr, Space Biskit, and Coco Leni.
