In 2004, civil engineers and friends Jay Huebner, Nour Shehedeh, and Antonio Quevedo decided to combine their technical talents as well as the well-established relationships they had developed over time with private developers and municipalities all over South Florida and pursue an opportunity to build their own civil engineering legacy. Together, they formed HSQ Group.
Their mission: to build a firm that personally nurtured strong, long-term relationships and delivered – hands-on — effective, efficient, and responsible civil engineering, planning and surveying services while fostering a workplace culture that promotes learning and professional growth.
Today, those founders continue to grow together, building HSQ Group into a civil engineering legacy with offices in Miami, Sunrise, and Boca Raton. Today, the firm offers a continuum of civil engineering, planning, and surveying services to clients from the Florida Keys all the way up to Orlando and beyond.
To accelerate that growth and leverage future opportunities, HSQ Group in 2023 entered into a strategic growth partnership with The HFW Companies, a professional services firm whose vision is to build a preeminent national network of architectural and engineering legacy partners that provides a gateway to accelerated growth and leverages its partners’ collaborative expertise across a national footprint.
