HTANZ aims to position itself as a key connector between students and the healthcare technology sector, as well as research faculty at Waipapa Taumata Rau, The University of Auckland. Its mission is to increase awareness and education about the HealthTech industry, particularly among students who may not be aware of it as a viable career option. By providing opportunities to connect with professionals in the field, HTA seeks to bridge the gap between the academic and professional worlds and equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to enter and succeed in the healthcare technology sector. In addition to connecting students with professionals in the healthcare technology sector, HTA aims to provide information and resources that are typically inaccessible to them. By doing so, HTA seeks to enhance the value of student education and equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to enter the industry. Through its events and resource directory, HTA will provide students with the tools they need to succeed in the healthcare technology sector and help position them for rewarding careers.
