HTP a été créé en 1989.
Les premiers clients d’HTP furent les gares SNCF puis les stations du métro.
Par la suite les collectivités, en s’appuyant sur l’article 99 du règlement sanitaire départemental qui fait obligation aux particuliers de maintenir leurs façades propres et nettes, ont lancé des marchés d’enlèvement des graffiti.
HTP s’est implanté dans toute la France et a développé de nouveaux services.
