Biaffin is a CRO and provider of bioanalytical services specialized in biomolecular interaction analysis using real-time SPR biosensors (Biacore). The team of Biaffin has acquired long experience and expert knowledge in the application of biosensors based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and is known to be a reliable partner for the performance of biomolecular interaction analyses for various applications. Biacore technology is employed in various stages of the drug development process, for kinetic characterisation of antibodies, in quality control of recombinant proteins and biosimilars, in ADME as well as in immunogenicity studies. Furthermore, microfluidic mobility shift assays (Caliper technology) are employed for the performance of kinase assays. Biaffin is also manufacturer of recombinant proteins with focus on kinase and signal transduction research.
